The monitoring site is at a slight bend in the brook directly behind a water treatment facility. There is melting snow on the grounds around the brook, and overhanging trees are bare of leaves.

Physical Summary:
The brooke is clear and tea colored, there is no noticeable odor to the water. Turbidity and embedeness are both indicative of no impact from the surrounding area. There is noticeable erosion of the stream bed with the surrounding trees leaning over the brook exposed roots on neighboring trees and significant undercutting of the ice.
