Edmunds Middle School

In May of 2013, Edmunds 6th & 7th grade students engaged in a unique Watershed Alliance program titled the "Burlington Bio Blitz". During the program, students observed the topographic landscape, assessed soil for its composition, and examined the surrounding forest in along the Potash Brook in Burlington, Vermont. The objective of this program was to engage students in hands-on activities that helped them to better understand the context in which the Potash Brook Watershed exists, be it urban, suburban or forested.

Here we wanted to congratulate Edmunds Middle School for their effort and enthusiasm to learn more about the Potash Brook by sharing a student's final presentation on the program. Please click here to see the student powerpoint.
