Site Description:
The site was forested with coniferous trees; many were fallen in the forest as well as in the river. The banks of the river were largely eroded and the water level was very low.
Surrounding Development or Land Use:
Do you see any pipes entering into the river?:
Is there a water treatment plant upstream?:
Physical Summary:
The stream is located close to residential and commercial development along with public roadways, parks, and forests. There is not much tree growth at the banks of the stream and the banks are largely eroded; this may suggest that water from the surrounding areas is not slowed down by any filtration or pipe systems before entering the river. The water was clear and velocity was relatively slow.
